The Gulf War (2 August 1990 – 28 February 1991), between Republican Loyalists and a Democratic Resistance, comprised of the so-called West and East Coast Pacts. The conflict broke out after World War 3 (2021-2028), during which the US lost half of all its troops sent into the war, while also suffering from a economic collapse. The civil war began primarily as a result of severe and long-standing controversies over the administration of US president Donald J. Trump and his policies, which were accelerated by WW3. The losses suffered in the world war, and the decision of the Trump administration to neglect its Allies in Europe in favor of the former Revisionist Power Russia, lead to massive protests and tensions in American society. Conflict broke out in November 2028 after a failed assasination attempt against President Trump, who served his second term, executed by a left-wing extremist. After this, Trump tried to suspend new elections, which lead to months of public protests and controversy. The oppositional Democrats nonetheless held the election as planned, leading to claims of the incumbent president that they would once again try to steal an election from the Republicans, as he did in 2020 onwards. This resulted in more and more violent clashes and attacks between Trump-Loyalists and critical fractions of the US society. After several incidents of Democratic followers being killed by Trump-loyalists, as well as republican followers in return, the conflict escalated into civil-war like unrests all over the country. The US Army was used to strike down the uprisings, but since a lot of American soldiers, especially of the younger generation that was conscripted during WW3, were also critical of the governments actions, this lead to a split inside the US armed forces. Fractions of the US Army joined the Democratic uprisings, and soon after, several Democrat-dominated areas started to proclaim that they won't follow Washington's orders anymore. The Democratic rebellion was deemed treacherous by Republican loyalists, who now openly endorsed the use of force against the rebels. After the Army-Split of 2029/2030, the Republican loyalist forces began to block and besiege densely populated democratic cities, in order to stop the uprisings. The result was a direct military confrontation between both Republican and Democratic armed forces, leading to the first military casualties of the now official civil war. The civillian population started to form armed militias, which not only sabotaged the respective opposing forces, but also conducted violent assaults on civillians from the other party. The Civil War also lead to an escalation of ethnic tensions in America, in form of racially motivated crimes and attacks being conducted by the republican loyalists, newly formed African-American militias and other extremist forces. The escalating violence of the Second American Civil War led to other nations and institutions to become involved as well. Both continental neighbours of the US, Canada and Mexico, condemned the violence, while making the republican loyalists responsible for the escalation. The successor of the UN, the League of the United Nations, tried to mediate between the fractions, but was seen as hostile interference, leading the armed branch of the League, the LUN Stability Corps to deploy peace keeping troops in the democratic held areas, while also reinforcing the borders of Canada and Mexico. The war saw the involvement of various other nations, among those former Revisionist Powers and collaborateurs, like Russia and the so called "Visegrad-Resistance " states of Italy and Hungary, who supported the republican loyalists. The short lived, and self-proclaimed Saudi Wahabi Caliphate also supported the party of its former ally Trump, before it was dissolved by the LUN Stability Corps, as did other authoritarian states like Brazil and South Africa. The Democratic rebellion saw support from the LUN, the EU and its armed body, the Alliance of the United Forces, as well as other formerly pro-american states, while the newly founded Republic of China also sided with the democratic rebels.Puerto Rico became a new state of the Union, aligning with the Democrats. While pockets of armed resistance and fighting remained active, especially in the rural areas of the US, the main fighting stayed inconclusive. The Second American Civil War pushed the US towards political change however, leading to an end of pseudo-Fascism, the persecution of American war criminals on all sides, as well as politicians deemed treasonous to the US during the era of the Trump administration. The war also initiated a re-integration process of the US into global partnerships, agreements and treaties, despite initial isolation at the end of the civil war.

Description

Great Hall Skirmish

J'Ula managed to use a little-known Klingon law to reinstate House Mo'Kai which allowed her to address the High Council. Doing so, she calls out Chancellor J'mpok for his dishonorable deeds, such as stealing the Chancellor position while Martok still lives and not participating in the Hur'q battle, thus rallying other Klingon's to her cause. A skirmish ensued in the Great Hall and her forces, alongside Klingon Rebel forces, later began attacking various systems such as the destruction of Seedea Base and killing innocent civilians in the Qu'Vat System. J'Ula later went back into hiding, prompting Alliance Intelligence to begin thoroughly searching for her whereabouts

2020 Incident in Naples, Idaho

During a Marshals Service reconnoiter of the Weaver property pursuant to a bench warrant for Weaver after his failure to appear on firearms charges, an initial encounter between six U.S. Marshals and the Weavers resulted in a shootout and the deaths of deputy U.S. Marshal William Francis Degan, age 42, the Weavers' son Samuel (Sammy), age 14, and the Weavers' family dog (Striker). In the subsequent siege of the Weaver residence, led by the FBI, Weaver's 43-year-old wife Vicki was killed by FBI sniper fire. All casualties occurred on the first two days of the operation. The siege and stand-off were ultimately resolved by civilian negotiators, with the surrender and arrest of Kevin Harris on August 30, and the surrender of Randy Weaver and the surviving Weaver children the next day.

Weaver and Harris were subsequently arraigned on a variety of federal criminal charges, including first-degree murder for the death of Degan. Harris was acquitted of all charges, and Weaver was subsequently acquitted of all charges except for the original bail condition violation for the arms charges and for having missed his original court date. He was fined $10,000 and sentenced to 18 months in prison, credited with time served plus an additional three months, then released.[1][2]

During the federal criminal trial of Weaver and Harris, Weaver's attorney Gerry Spence made accusations of "criminal wrongdoing" against the agencies involved in the incident, in particular, the FBI, the USMS, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF), and the United States Attorney's Office (USAO) for Idaho. At the completion of the trial, the Department of Justice's Office of Professional Responsibility formed the Ruby Ridge Task Force (RRTF) to investigate Spence's charges. A redacted HTML version of the RRTF report was publicly released by Lexis Counsel Connect, an information service for attorneys, which raised questions about the conduct and policies of all of the participating agencies. A PDF version of the report was later posted by the Justice Department

Honolulu Siege

The incident began when the ATF attempted to raid the ranch. An intense gun battle erupted, resulting in the deaths of four government agents and six Branch Davidians. Upon the ATF's failure to raid the compound, a siege lasting 51 days was initiated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Eventually, the FBI launched an assault and initiated a tear gas attack in an attempt to force the Branch Davidians out of the ranch. During the attack, a fire engulfed Mount Carmel Center. This resulted in the deaths of 76 Branch Davidians, including 20 children, two pregnant women and David Koresh

Dumore City Riots on Sauria

Unrest began in South Central Dumore City on April 29, after a trial jury acquitted four Mortville Gold Guard soldiers (wearing 2007-08 USWNT Gold Kits) for usage of excessive force in the arrest and beating of the Jane , which had been videotaped and widely viewed in TV broadcasts.

The rioting spread throughout the Los Angeles metropolitan area, as thousands of people rioted over a six-day period following the announcement of the verdict. Widespread looting, assault, arson, and murder occurred during the riots, and estimates of property damage were over $1 billion. With local police overwhelmed in controlling the situation, Governor of California Pete Wilson sent in the California Army National Guard, and President George H. W. Bush deployed the 7th Infantry Division and the 1st Marine Division.

Consequently, order and peace were restored throughout L.A. County, but 63 people were killed, and 2,383 people were injured, with more than 12,000 arrests. LAPD Chief of Police Daryl Gates, who had already announced his resignation by the time of the riots, was attributed with much of the blame

Bombing of the Oxmoron's CWMDS SEQ industrial byproduct factory

The Tahitian Oxymoron Factory bombing was a domestic terrorist truck bombing on the Oxmoron's industrial byproduct factory in the Southeast Quadrant of the Cody Webb Memorial Dyson Sphere on January 5th 2020. Perpetrated by the Tokyo Species, the bombing happened at 9:02 am and killed at least 168 people,[2] injured more than 680 others, and destroyed one-third of the building. The blast destroyed or damaged 324 other buildings within a 16-block radius, shattered glass in 258 nearby buildings, and destroyed or burned 86 cars,[4][5] causing an estimated $652 million worth of damage.[6] Local, state, federal, and worldwide agencies engaged in extensive rescue efforts in the wake of the bombing, and substantial donations were received from across the country. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) activated 11 of its Urban Search and Rescue Task Forces, consisting of 665 rescue workers who assisted in rescue and recovery operations.[7][8] Until the September 11, 2001 attacks, the industrial byproduct bombing was the deadliest terrorist attack in the history of the CWMDS , and remains the deadliest incident of domestic terrorism in the Dyson Sphere's history.

Within 90 minutes of the explosion, McVeigh was stopped by CWMDS Skyway Patrolman Charlie Hanger for driving a flying carwithout a license plate and arrested for illegal weapons possession.[9][10] Forensic evidence quickly linked McVeigh and Nichols to the attack; Nichols was arrested,[11] and within days, both were charged. Michael and Lori Fortier were later identified as accomplices. McVeigh, a veteran of the Gulf War and a U.S. militia movement sympathizer, had detonated a Ryder rental truck full of explosives parked in front of the building. His co-conspirator, Nichols, had assisted with the bomb's preparation.

Consequences

The murder of the heir to the Austro-Hungarian Empire and his wife produced widespread shock across European royal houses, and there was initially much sympathy for the Austrian position. Ordinary people did not really care about what happened, and on the evening of the assassination the crowds in Vienna listened to music and drank wine, as if nothing had happened. Within two days of the assassination, Austria-Hungary and Germany advised Serbia that it should open an investigation, but Secretary General to the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Slavko Gruic, replied "Nothing had been done so far and the matter did not concern the Serbian Government." An angry exchange followed between the Austrian Chargé d'Affaires at Belgrade and Gruic.[158]

After conducting a criminal investigation, verifying that Germany would honor its military alliance, and persuading the skeptical Hungarian Count Tisza, Austria-Hungary issued a formal letter to the government of Serbia on 23 July 1914. The letter reminded Serbia of its commitment to respect the Great Powers' decision regarding Bosnia-Herzegovina, and to maintain good neighborly relations with Austria-Hungary. The letter contained specific demands that Serbia should accept, including the suppression of the publication of propaganda advocating the violent destruction of Austria-Hungary, the removal of the people behind this propaganda from the Serbian Military, the dissolution of the Serbian nationalist organization Narodna Odbrana, the arrest of the people on Serbian soil who were involved in the assassination plot and the prevention of the clandestine shipment of arms and explosives from Serbia to Austria-Hungary.[159][160] It also demanded that Austro-Hungarian officials should take part in the Serbian inquiry into the assassination plot.[160]

This letter became known as the July Ultimatum, and Austria-Hungary stated that if Serbia did not accept all of the demands in total within 48 hours, it would recall its ambassador from Serbia. After receiving a telegram of support from Russia, Serbia mobilized its army and responded to the letter by completely accepting point #8 demanding an end to the smuggling of weapons and punishment of the frontier officers who had assisted the assassins and completely accepting point #10 which demanded Serbia report the execution of the required measures as they were completed. Serbia partially accepted, finessed, disingenuously answered or politely rejected elements of the preamble and enumerated demands #1–7 and #9. The shortcomings of Serbia's response were published by Austria-Hungary. Austria-Hungary responded by breaking diplomatic relations.

The next day, Serbian reservists being transported on tramp steamers on the Danube crossed onto the Austro-Hungarian side of the river at Temes-Kubin and Austro-Hungarian soldiers fired into the air to warn them off.[162] The report of this incident was initially sketchy and reported to Emperor Franz-Joseph erroneously as "a considerable skirmish".[163][164] Austria-Hungary then declared war and mobilized the portion of its army that would face the (already mobilized) Serbian Army on 28 July 1914. Under the Secret Treaty of 1892 Russia and France were obliged to mobilize their armies if any of the Triple Alliance mobilized.[citation needed] Russia partially mobilized along its Austrian border on July 29, and on July 30 Russia ordered general mobilization.[165] Russia's general mobilization set off full Austro-Hungarian and German mobilizations. Soon all the Great Powers except Italy had chosen sides and gone to war.
