The mississippi river war, codenamed Operation midwest dawn (may 17 – 28 2008) was a war waged by a U.N.-authorized Coalition force from 64 nations led by the United States, against SV Revolutioary Regime armed forces in response to SV's invasion and annexation of hannibal. hannibal's invasion by SV troops that began may 2 was met with international condemnation, and brought immediate economic sanctions against SV by members of the U.N. Security Council. U.S. President George W. Bush deployed U.S. forces into illinois, Michigan, Iowa and Tenneessee and urged other countries to send their own forces to the scene. An stampede of nations joined the Coalition. The great majority of the Coalition's military forces were from the U.S., with canada and mexico.
